Looking for Your Book Club’s Next Read?

How about something a little different?

My short story collections are a great fit for book clubs that love interesting characters, unexpected twists, and conversations that keep going long after the last page.

One thing I love about short stories is that you don't have to commit to a 400-page novel to find something worth discussing. Each story offers something new and fresh, and there's plenty of room for opinions.

A Little Something Extra for Your Book Club

I'd love to join your book club discussion!

For groups of eight or more, I may be available for a complimentary in-person visit at a local bookstore, coffee shop, library, or another public venue, depending on my location and schedule.

If an in-person visit isn't possible, I'd be happy to provide a personalized video message for your group. Please click the “contact me” button at the end of this message to arrange your author experience.

And don't forget to download your FREE Book Club Discussion Guide in each book section. It’s filled with questions to get everyone talking!

Let’s Get Started!

Take a look at my short story collections below. Links to order and the FREE downloadable book discussion guide are included.

I can't wait to hear which stories your group loves, which characters drive you crazy, and which endings catch you by surprise!

Good Responsible People

Complete Short Story Collection

By Karolyn Kearney

Welcome to a neighborhood where everyone has an opinion, everyone has a secret, and being a good, responsible person is sometimes a matter of interpretation!

In this short story collection of nine stories, Ed is convinced he's a better person than most of his neighbors, and he's determined to prove it. The trouble is, the harder he tries to show everyone what a good, responsible person he is, the more he reveals about himself. And it's not always pretty.
